The snow is finally gone and the weather is starting to turn around. Summer feels like it’s right around the corner, which means pools and beaches will soon become the best way to beat the New York heat. Don’t let a fear of swimming or a lack of confidence keep your kids from enjoying the thrill of gliding across a pool. There is a wonderful not-for-profit in New York that is working to give kids the necessary skills for swimming success.

Since 2006 the Swim Strong Foundation has been helping New York kids discover the joy and success of competitive swimming.

Swim Strong offers both competitive and developmental programs to teach kids how to swim as well as help them improve their skills for competition.

Swim Strong teaches the proper techniques to prepare your child to be a strong, safe and competent swimmer.  We want them to enjoy the sport for a lifetime.  We work with children who are in the very beginning level as well as those who are already competing but need stroke enhancement work.
